Chris Ross-Ewart (he/him) is a sound designer, composer, and performer. Working across the US, Canada, and the world, his practice ranges from performer to composer to designer, in theatre, musical theatre, dance, film, podcasts and installation. Theatre design experience includes Tarragon, Coal Mine, Luminato Festival, Chemainus Theatre Festival, Stratford Festival and Shaw Festival. He has also taught and designed at institutions like Western Michigan University, New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, University of Rochester, Amherst College, University of British Columbia and Simon Fraser University. He holds an MFA from the Sound Design program at Yale School of Drama and a BA from University of Toronto’s drama program. He also works as a mental health worker at Insite, a safe injection site, and would love to talk to you about drug legalization and supporting your local harm reduction organization.
